Founded in Geneva in 2012, this company is the leading last-mile delivery service in Switzerland.
It is a food-tech company connecting Swiss consumers with more than 2,500 restaurants and 100 retailers. It is constantly exploring additional services to expand our core offering.
All mobile apps, the website and other proprietary tech and software is built in-house. It stands for a diverse, dynamic and open corporate culture with more than 100 employees across 2 different office locations.
- Reporting directly into the CFO and managing a team of 2, looking for an experienced and talented Lead Accountant and Risk Controller. The Lead Accountant must be willing to work well on a team and also be capable of performing quality work with little direction.
- The Lead Accountant will keep track of the company's day-to-day financial transactions and help build systems to handle future budgeting needs as well as the design and implementation of audit processes, and methodologies. Developing and monitoring audit programs and planning and performing operational audits to ensure compliance with applicable Swiss regulations, corporate standards and generally accepted internal audit standards.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Identify the financial risk of the organisation and offer recommendations to reduce risk
- Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
- Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
- Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations and Follow up on remedial action
- Create, revise and document Internal Audit policies and procedures
- Perform various aspects of execution of risk-based operational audits
- Assist with implementing audit tools to improve audit efficiencies
- Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as ability to use appropriate judgement and discretion
- Perform other duties as assigned
Formation minimum Bachelor
Proficient with standard concepts, procedures, protocols and methodologies within the auditor field
- Experience with financial frameworks, processes, and tools
- Skill in analysing records, reports, and other business and financial documents.
- Skill in document details and facts pertinent to the audit assignment.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A flexible, driven, highly-organised and self-starter personality
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative and constantly changing workplace
- Strong commitment to take ownership and make an impact while delivering quality work
Points incontournables
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
10+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, information systems or related fields (at least one experience in Switzerland)
3+ years managerial experience
Fluency in French and English
